Only 20 people have been admitted onto the programme nationwide, which is launched by the Association of British Credit Union Ltd (ABCUL), in partnership with The Credit Union Foundation and Citi Foundation. It is an innovative programme to support and develop young people across the credit union movement.
The programme will include an industry standard qualification accredited by the Institute of Financial Services University College, to give meaningful development support to future credit union managers, directors and leaders
Debbie has been chosen to join the programme as she has shown great potential as a future leader to our credit union and as someone we should invest in. The course aims to further enhance Debbie’s skills for the future of the credit union sector.
It has been recognised that developing and retaining young people is vital to the sustainability of the British credit union sector. CU Futures aims to provide participants with the relevant knowledge and training to become future leaders and we will support her every step of the way.
