It has been six years since PCCU opened the Colne Shackleton Hall branch in November 2011.

Time flies when you’re having fun or in PCCU’s case helping people! Today marks the sixth anniversary of the Colne Branch opening on Church Street. We knew that more and more people from Colne and surrounding areas should be able to access the ethical savings and affordable loan accounts that PCCU provide – being on the award winning high street was an obvious choice for the new Branch.

The Colne Branch opened six years after the merger of Nelson Community Credit Union and Colne & District Credit Union in October 2005. Since then the Credit Union has gone from strength to strength, opening more accounts and issuing more loans to the community.
