It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The lights are up, the wrapping paper is out and WHAM is everywhere!
There’s still plenty going on in the run-up to the big day and so PCCU is here to tell you where all the festive fun is.
Breakfast with Santa
Enjoy a hot or cold buffet breakfast along with a small gift from the man himself at Holiday Inn’s ‘Breakfast with Santa’. Tickets are £8.99 per person and can be bought by ringing 01282 855955. The event takes place on Sunday, December 22nd from 11am – 1pm.
Burnley Christmas Festival
The first ever Burnley Christmas Festival takes place at The Landmark (the old Burnley Grammar School building opposite Sainsbury’s) from noon until 8pm on Saturday, December 21st. This free family event will feature live music, global street food, market stalls and a licensed bar. Not only that but there’s also an Elf Workshop and Santa Experience hosted by Krafty Cow tea room. Tickets for the workshop are available here.
It’s going to be festive fun and games at HAPPA, Briercliffe, on Saturday, December 21st, and Sunday, December 22nd, with a visit from a very special guest. Lunch included for ages 4 – 14 years (£9.95 per child). Book in advance on 01282 455992. The elf workshop will run from 11am until 1pm, both days.
Late night shopping
Nobody likes it but we all know last minute festive shopping is as inevitable as charades on Christmas Day.
Fortunately, Burnley town centre has you covered with late night shopping on Thursdays throughout the festive period. Shop ’til you drop – or until 8pm at Charter Walk Shopping Centre, Burnley – and then why not rest your weary feet in one of the town centre’s restaurants – Palazzo, Carnivoro, Astoria, Empire Theatre Bar, the Corkhouse all serving delectable dishes well into the night. For those leaving it right up until the last minute, shops will be trading until 5-30pm on Christmas Eve.
Finally, we love celebrating Christmas here at PCCU but that doesn’t mean we’re too busy to deal with loan applications. We understand how stressful this time of year can be, especially from a financial point of view, and that’s why we process loans throughout Christmas and into the New Year.
From everyone at PCCU we wish you have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
