Who doesn’t love a bank holiday? An extended weekend to just do you. We know our account holders do! As they are forever telling us about their upcoming trips and activities planned such as visiting family, big nights out in the city, or just chillaxing on the sofa with back to back movie marathons.
We have already had account holders applying for holidays loans to beat their winter blues and get away for a while. I know I wouldn’t mind some winter sun! If you want to maximise your annual leave from work this year, we have the low down on how to do so! The trick is to book your time off around the bank holidays.
This year’s bank holidays fall on:
Wednesday 1st January – New Year’s Day (Gone but not forgotten!)
Friday 10th April – Good Friday
Monday 13th April – Easter Monday
Friday 8th May – Early May Bank Holiday
Monday 25th May – Spring Bank Holiday
Monday 31st August – Summer Bank Holiday
Friday 25th December – Christmas Day
Monday 28th December – Boxing Day
The only bad things about all these bank holidays is that PCCU is closed on these dates unfortunately!
However, to maximise your holidays this year you need to book of the below dates:
|Dates to book||Days off achieved||Holidays used|
|9 April – 19 April||11||5|
|8 May – 25 May||18||10|
|29 August – 6 September||9||4|
|28 December – 4 January||8||2|
As you can see this more than doubles your holidaying potential! Think of all the amazing memories you can make with all those days off spent with your loved ones.
