The past 5 weeks have been busy at PCCU and we are just gearing up for the Christmas rush!
It has been great to welcome visitors to PCCU from neighbouring Credit Unions. We have also been on the road sharing experiences about how we serve the local community and picking up advice on ways we could provide a better a service for savers and borrowers.
Jodie who covers a number of important roles within PCCU, from credit control to members services, welcomed fellow CU Futures student Andrew from Blackpool Fylde and Wyre Credit Union to our branches. They looked into the respective ways we both operated and looked at sharing possible improvements.
Jodie also impressed all the staff at PCCU by completing a sponsored 45 kilometres or 28 miles walk on the Lancaster canal in an amazing time to raise money towards the sustainability of next year’s CU Future programme.
Members of staff also visited Manchester Credit Union and No.1 Copper pot Credit Union to look at ways to increase and improve the services we provide our account holders. By looking at the loan products available at other Credit Unions we have designed a new loan which will be available soon, to benefit families living in the Burnley and Pendle communities.
We only operate for the benefit of this community – so if you have any suggestions or comments please do not hesitate to contact PCCU here.
If Christmas approaching was not exciting enough, and a little daunting, we have exciting news relating to our partnership with SPE Furnishings to announce soon…
