The PCCU AGM will take place on Friday, 3rd March 2023 at 7pm – 8:30pm.
To register for the online Annual General Meeting event please follow the instructions below. You should expect to receive this invitation via email and through the post over the following weeks. To update your contact details with us please email us at enquires@pccu.co.uk.
All PCCU account holders will be invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Credit Unions are not-for-profit co-operative organisations which are owned and controlled by account holders, with no outside shareholders to satisfy, providing a responsible alternative source of savings and loan accounts. Once you open your account at PCCU you become a member and shareholder of the organisation allowing you to have a voice in the way your credit union operates.
The AGM is an opportunity for members of the credit union to come together to reflect on how the previous year has gone and where decision are made on the direction of your credit union. PCCU has decided on a hybrid AGM for a number of reasons: it allows our new members in Cumbria, Preston and the wider East Lancashire area to attend. During a time of uncertainty due to coronavirus it gives those uncomfortable with attending in person their right to participate, whilst also allowing PCCU to conduct the AGM virtually if coronavirus rules change. We see this as an opportunity for more account holders to get involved.
What to expect from PCCU’s AGM:
- Report on the progress of PCCU from the Board of Directors
- Resolution of proposed Common Bond change
- Elect directors to the credit union’s Board
- Receive a report on the financial accounts for the year
- Receive a report from the credit union’s external auditors
- The Board will propose the dividend on savings for the year
- Find out which organisations PCCU proposes to support this year with charitable donations
- Approve the credit union’s external audit partner for the new financial year
- Hear key note speeches

ABCUL have hosted a number of AGMs for other Credit Unions across the UK over recent weeks, so everything is tried and tested! The platform is free of charge to use however requires an internet connection and audio (a headset is recommended but not essential).
Please respond to your invitation by registering for the meeting using the ‘Virtual Registration’ button on this page. By completing the online registration you will be provided with a confirmation email immediately containing a second link, this will be needed to join the meeting on the day of the AGM. Please do not share this link as this is unique for you. Before joining, be sure to check the system requirements to avoid any connection issues.
For those attending virtually we are unable to ‘hand out’ the usual information packs. We have therefore added the documents, including the Accounts, Agenda and 2021 AGM Minutes at the link below. Please follow the click the links to view these ahead of the AGM.
