Age UK Lancashire has worked tirelessly since the Coronavirus pandemic hit the UK in March, to ensure the most vulnerable and lonely older people have the support they need.

They provide assistance in many areas including;

• Hospital Aftercare
• Home Help with domestic tasks
• Support in the Community Good Day Calls – a phone call every day, 7 days per week
• Information and Advice; claiming benefits, housing, health and care issues
• Dementia support for those living with dementia and their carers

Pennine Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial co-operative where the account holders support local charities each year with a donation. This year we chose to support to support Age UK Lancashire with two £500 donation to the Burnley and Pendle branches of Age UK.
